Die Zauberflöte

Together with the Mediziner Orchester, we will be performing Mozart's "The Magic Flute" twice each on January 27th and 28th as a fairytale hour for the whole family. In this reduced version, the frail Prince Tamino and the fibbing birdcatcher Papageno attempt to rescue the suffering Princess Pamina from the clutches of the evil high priest Sarastro – or perhaps from her mother, the Queen of the Night? For WorkshOpera, this marks a return to our roots, as we already performed Mozart and Schikaneder's opera in a fantasy version as a role-playing game in 2019.
